Dear Foothill Families and Community,

What an incredible day we had on campus!
Our College and Career Readiness Fair was a tremendous success, and we are so grateful to Mrs. Been, our Vice-Principal, and the entire planning committee for making it all happen. With over 25 vendors in attendance, our students had the opportunity to explore a wide variety of future pathways. Four universities were represented, along with more than twenty different careers—including law enforcement, welding, forestry, fish and game, Caltrans, arborists, pet grooming, conservation, and even the meaningful work of posthumous care. Each presenter brought valuable insight and hands-on learning to help ex
pand our students’ understanding of college and career opportunities.
In addition to the fair, our egg hunts across campus brought smiles and excitement to our students. It was heartwarming to see such strong support and positivity from our families and community members throughout all of today’s events.

We are also thrilled to share that our Foothill Fundraiser raised over $25,000! These funds will go directly toward enriching student experiences, including field trips, our SOAR store, student t-shirts, and helping support sixth grade camp. Thank you to our PFA for your continued generosity and partnership—your support makes a meaningful difference for our students.
Looking ahead, our PBIS walkthrough will take place in April. Our goal is to be recognized at the bronze level, demonstrating honoring schools for implementing the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports framework with fidelity.
It recognizes a school's commitment to creating a safe, positive school culture This recognition relfects our schoolwide work and commitment to positive behavior and a supportive learning environment. You may hear your students talking about SOAR, Eagle voice levels, or the Eagle pledge—these are all part of building a strong and respectful school community.
Thank you for your ongoing support and involvement. We are proud of the strong partnership we share with our families and community.
Wishing you all a wonderful and restful break!
Warm regards,
Jamie Swisegood, Principal
