As a new school year begins, there will be more buses on the road and children walking or biking to school. Let's work together to make sure every student arrives safely. Please keep these important safety habits in mind whenever you are driving:
SLOW down in school zones and stay alert for changing speed limits.
STAY alert for children crossing streets or walking between parked vehicles.
NEVER pass a stopped school bus displaying its stop arm and flashing lights.
AVOID distractions and stay focused, especially near schools and neighborhoods.
